3 Ways to Wear a Romper this Season

3 Ways to Wear a Romper this Season

Spring and summer are synonymous with warmer temperatures, and easy outfits. Rompers and jumpsuits have become a go-to wardrobe choice for a couple years now and show no sign of slowing down. They’re the perfect spring/summer staple because they’re incredibly easy to wear, similar to dresses. It’s a new year and a new opportunity to mix up the way you wear your favorite rompers. There are SO many fun ways to wear rompers this year…here are 3 ways to wear a romper this season to get you inspired.

Layer a Long Cardigan

You’re probably familiar with how easy it is to throw on your favorite denim jacket over a romper, it’s a great casual look. But it doesn’t stop with denim jackets! This season it’s all about layering a lightweight long cardigan or trench style jacket over your romper. The longer length is a fun way to add a unique look to your romper, especially on the cooler spring days. The Astrid lace cardigan is perfect to achieve this look.

Delicate Jewelry

Accessory trends, like all other trends, come and go but this spring/summer expect to see a lot of delicate jewelry. Whether you’ve skipped jewelry or opted for statement pieces in the past, this year wear your favorite rompers with delicate layered necklaces. The layering (whether it’s one piece or multiple necklaces worn together) adds a fun touch to your romper without overpowering it. This seashell layered necklace is a must have for the season and will look great with any romper.

Add a Belt

Even though most rompers have a defined waist built into the garment, adding a belt to the waist of the romper is an easy way to completely change the look of your romper. This is perfect as the temperatures start to rise but you want to get more wear out of your romper, without feeling like you’re wearing the same thing all the time. Choose a belt that’s a neutral color, or compliments the colors in the romper.
